PASS A PILLOW PROJECT
The I W.A.N.T. Foundation, Inc., depends on the generosity of individuals in the community, like you, to provide comforting products for breast cancer patients. Since July 2008, more than 100 post surgery patients have been comforted by shoulders pillows. These pillows provide comfort and security to patients while riding in a car, sitting at home or even during sleep time. Donations help us provide the materials and the labor for the manufacturing of the pillows.
SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Motivational speakers do not charge a fee to speak at events or during other activities. However, we would like to compensate them for their travel to speaking engagements and the cost of printing handouts and other materials for their presentations.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
We understand first-hand how expensive medical treatment is for treating cancer. We offer individuals financial assistance to help pay pay co-pays, transportation fees (public transportation), utility bills and etc. so you can focus on what's important, your mental and physical well-being.
MAMMOBUDDY
Many women are fearful of going to the doctor alone for their annual mammograms. Have no fear. MammoBuddies are here. MammoBuddies will join you on your trip the doctor. MammoBuddies are compensated for their time and travel.
