Motivational and inspirational speaker, Nikki Thomas, has a story to tell and she wants to share her story with you. After seeing her mother and aunt pass away from breast cancer and having another aunt diagnosed at a young age and then getting the news of her own sister's diagnosis a few years ago, she knew something had to be done about promoting awareness and educating young women about this haunting disease. It was not until her own battle with breast cancer in September 2008, that she decided that the time was now!
Most of her life, breast cancer has been a vital part of her being. However, she has not and will not let this disease control her life. She wants to share with you how this battle has made her stronger, motivated, and passionate about reaching out to others, especially young women who think they are too young to get mammograms or too young to even get the disease.
